Gauri Mishra (GM), Associate Professor and cultural convener of CVS shared some interesting facts about the college fashion society and her role as the cultural convener in a brief interaction with fashiongaze.com editor Surveshwar Sarvesh (SS).
SS: How has the fashion society of CVS evolved in the last few years?
GM: I think our college Fashion society named “Manthan” has made significant progress in the last few years. Under the dynamic leadership of mentors like Rhythm and Prashant, the society has been on an unstoppable winning spree, having already won five trophies including the prestigious ones from premier institutes like AIIMS and BITS Pilani. Our college fashion society team comprising Siddhant Chikara (President), Niharika Yadav (Vice President) and Harshit Kataria (Team Director) deserve a special word of praise for their passion and painstaking efforts. Our fashion society designs its own costumes that have all the creative touch, with props like paintings etc.
SS: As the cultural convener of the college fashion society, what special role have you been playing?
GM: As the Cultural Convener, my role is primarily to enable the students to reach their peak potential in various fields. I constantly motivate them and guarantee that they are provided the necessary infrastructure for giving their level best performance. My key job is to consistently encourage and boost the morale of my students so as to help them bring rich laurels to their college.
