This is what we can say that when we see the collection of talented designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil in the opening show of wills fashion week autumn winter 12-13. They have once again proved that not only they are the masters in making a woman look sexy and sensual but also an Indian touch by making it colourful.
They say that “Their woman is bold and glamorous and live life in the same way. She just not wear simply our designs, she is not a mere canvas but is a constant source of inspiration.”
The fabric used in the collection varies from silk to satin to georgettes in striking colours like red, bottle green, aqua green, gold with some elegance of white & black.
Nikhil Said on the opening show of the wills fashion week autumn winter 12,” the tone of the fashion week is glamorous show we want to make it young, fashionable and also confident, we are taking about how fashion week can start I feel that metallic is the trend that can happen very strongly and we want to push it through our cloths. Our theme is basically looking back at our clients who make us truly today. We are making cloth for them, they inspired to make this collection .The collection that people can wear and go for party.”
He also further added on Dia Mirza and Sameera Reddy walk, said” they are friend and customer of our, they wanted to come and watch our show like other customer of ours. So they have sat in the front row and enjoyed the show. And this show is basically for our entire client”.
Dia mirza said,” They give their customer a very younger look. I purchased my first gown from Shantanu & Nikhil’s four years ago”.
As mentioned the emphasis was given on draping, styling, smart cuts, sensual looks.
These collections are available in the price range starting from 20,000 to 58,000.
