Vidya Balan makes another fashion statement

[tab:Feed]Vidya Balan promoted her movie Dirty Picture during designer Preeti Ghai’s fashion show titled “celebration” in association with makeover expert Aashmeen Munjal at F Bar and Lounge located at The Ashok. She came in her silk smitha avatar and no wonder she was looking a diva in her this look too.

The event was choreographed by renowned choreographer Liza Varma where the models showcased 21 outfits from the pre nubile collection of the designer. The collection included stylized Sari, lehnga, anarkali suits and lehnga –cum-sari and cocktail gowns. One look at the collection, one can make out that it’s a different league of ensembles all together. Her collection epitomizes a new kind of sophistication for today’s self-conscious women.

The imminent personalities present at the event were JagdishTytler, Nassir Abdullah, RamolaBachchan, Ala and RajanMadhu, NeelamPratap Rudy, Gautam Gupta, Sandhya Bajaj, Deepali Narula, Rakhi Sethi, VandanaVadhera, KimmiTej, Poonam Sethi, Parul Roy, Parul Puri, Nidhi Bhageria, Meenakshi Dutt, Manu and Mamta Rawal, Varija Bajaj,NitinVijay,Nidhi,sylvie, SunainaMalhotra , Poonam Sharma, Saloli Kumar and many more….
Emphasizing on her nubile collection, designer Preeti Ghai said, “The nubile collection is to celebrate womanhood. The collection is not age barred. Any female between the age of 18yrs-50 yrs can wear my collection.My forte is Indian formal wear. Playing with fabric has always been inspiring. I have used rich Indian and French fabric like velvet, brocade, silk, shiffon, shantley, georgette etc in my collection which can be wore on any occasion. The designs are fine amalgamation of modern with a traditional and regal flavour.”
According to actress VidyaBalan, “Preeti is a friend and I have known her from a long time. I have seen her collection and really liked it. That’s why when she invited me, I planned to come for the show.”

Aashmeen Munjaal did the perfect make up according to the theme.-
