The entire star cast was in attendance in the capital recently to launch Sony SAB’s upcoming show on television “Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie” which is a marital comedy. Reminding one of the ageless adage, ‘Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus’, the show will showcase the many hilarious situations that arise in the daily lives of married couples due to gender roles and differences. Set in the backdrop of suburban Mumbai, the plot revolves around the lives of two neighbors namely the Tandon’s and the Desai’s. Bhupi Tandon played by the evergreen, versatileShekhar Suman, is a man in his fifties who believes that the ‘Man’ is the boss of the house, and thus loves to dominate his wife. His wife Neetu is a ritualistic traditional woman, a loving mother and a caring wife. The role of Neetu is being played by the gifted Swati Shah.
Their younger neighbors and friends are another married couple Parimal and Rupal Desai. Parimal played by Amit Mistry, in stark contrast to Bhupi, is a wife-fearing man! Parimal is Manager in a broking firm and is always entangled with transactions of the stock exchange. Enacted by Ami Trivedi, Rupal hails from an affluent background, and is constantly buying material comforts to upgrade her lifestyle much to the dismay of her husband as a consequence of which he remains perpetually under the EMI burden.
Adding unique dimension to the show is 25-year-old Goldie Sharma, who is a hopeless romantic. Playing the role of Goldie is Kevin Dave who is single and always ready to mingle. He finds his dream girl in every girl he sees, but is ironically always dumped by girls for his lack of focus and seriousness.
Ami Trivedi who plays Rupal said, “I have been to Delhi for work in the past, and now I am visiting the capital city after a long hiatus. Delhi is usually visited by me only for a day, and that too, for promotions, but I always love coming back to Delhi and gorging on the good food here. I love the feel of the capital, and the way people interact and accord a warm welcome.”
Swati Shah who plays Neetu Tandon says,” This has been my first visit to the historic capital city Delhi, and I am really looking forward to interact with my fans”.
“Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie” will be premiering on Tuesday, 27th February 2018, Monday toFriday at 21:30 hours only on Sony SAB!!
