Digital printing and comfortable chic silhouettes are two biggest trends that have emerged from the spring/summer 2012 runway. The designer duo Paras and Shalini smartly combined the two trends in creating a trendy and feminine clothing line. Models clad in draped dresses with heaps of soft and delicate floral prints walked in a printed stocking in subtle shades of pink and blue. The designer duo used soft and subtle floral prints in vibrant shades of greens, blues and tangerine on a muted and relatively silent base fabric. Liquid like draped garments faceted feminine cowls, ruches and pleats that were cut down to long flowy fringes from the hip. Hints of intricate appliqué detailing were seen in a kaftan clinched at the waist. The designers worked on sheer, another big trend of the season using see-through fabrics in bodice combined with floral prints. Models sporting long maxi dresses were accessorized with sunglasses and a cute woven basket filled with flowers, as though she’s just ready for a perfect summer holiday. Crochet elements in neckline was something new and unexplored this season. The final garment featured Jesse Randhawa walking in a crinkled crème gown with a bunch of white flowers in the bodice.
