SBJ Launches Women’s Couture collection at Grand Mall, Gurgaon

Vandy Mehra, Director of north India largest stylized occasion wear brand – Study By Janak, recently launched women’s couture in association with Rozzy Surri at their Gurgaon Store. The collection includes dresses, lehengas, lehenga cum sarees and gowns. This launch seems to be a perfect move by SBJ at this time of the year taking into consideration maximum weddings and functions happening all over.

On asking upon reason behind launching Women’s couture in Gurgaon store, Vandy says, “Our Gurgaon store primarily catered to the NRI and Corporate clients, but there were constant feedback on getting the women wear in the store. That is why we decided to bring our women range here.” On association with Rozzy Surri she added, “ Rozzy is a very talented designer and has been in the industry for 25 years now, her cuts and silhouettes are apt for the taste of our Gurgaon clients, so it made perfect sense to present this beautiful amalgamation of like-minded people and collection to our clients.”

The latest collection of Rozzy Surri for this season includes ethnic with lot of blends. A simple garara is teamed up with different kind of shirts like floor length, short frock, knee length giving a contemporary fusion to it. The colours used for this season collection are mostly deep ones like reds,wines and black.

Apart from the launch of women’s couture, SBJ has also come up with men’s suits, constructed with SBJ Made in Italy fabrics-fabrics designed and manufactured in the best of Italian mills, signature made for SBJ. With this, unlike other brands, SBJ’s thought process of designing starts right through from fabric itself and uses its own designed fabric while making suits to bring the next level of customized suits to their clients which in itself is a big breakthrough for a brand.
