Savio Jon painted a different stroke for Spring Summer 2012. The colour palette was towards the darker side this time but in a freshly treated manner. The silhouettes were mostly flowy and incorporated the element of minimalism. The colours revolved in a palette of grey, beige, black and dusty pink. The cuts flirtatiously moved around the surfaces in circular and sensual fashion. The hems were asymmetric and varied from front to back in various ensembles. Side slits superbly accentuated the construction techniques. The plackets and pockets freely moved towards hems and lower areas of the garments. There was a mix of weaves, knits and macramé, which were synchronised meticulously. Tie ‘n’ dye are mostly in a horizontal linear mannerism. The round cut on the shoulder finished beautifully with piping. Various other cuts acted moody and were placed nicely. Flimsy fabric tiers were absolutely stunning. Double collared effect with one falling on the back and the other one as original made an outward statement. Last but not the least, the crushed surfaces were fantastic. Savio’s amazing skills are to look out for this Spring Summer.
