[tab:Feed]For the spring summer 2012, Rahul Reddy has a new thought, a new wave. The collection is minimal as the colours were only restricted to whites, faded browns and greys. The style lines were a skillful touch to simpler shapes and were meticulously shifted from their original positions. The aesthetics were very well followed and the geometry was in continuation, which made for a balanced act.
The belts were categorically unusual as they were always placed at a new position. They were tied across the shoulders, over the hems and sometimes below hip lines. The colour palette ranged from fluorescent reds to fluorescent greens and hot pinks. Silhouettes were structured and basic, giving an impression of school uniforms. The whites formed the major part of the collection. The white tunics were juxtaposed with multiple panels. There was a play of different types of pleating, pin-tucks and other subtle surface treatments. The shirts had larger lapels, which were more jacket-like. At times, the front and the back looked the same. There was a wide range of fabrics, from woven to jerseys, but following simpler characteristics.
