If one has to taste the delectable cuisines on the occasion of Baisakahi, don’t give a miss to visit Kama restaurant of Radisson Blu, Ghaziabad, where a 16-day-long Punjabi food festival ~“Tashan Punjab da is going on. For me, when it comes to taste, Punjabi food has always been favourite, and I took no time to book a table for two in the restaurant. The moment we entered into the restaurant, it seemed we were somewhere in Punjab as there was Punjabi flavours everywhere. From the ambiance to décor, from the music to staff, all seemed to be steeped in Punjabi hue. The ambience of the restaurant is beautifully designed; its interior has made an ample use of golden colour to show opulence and make visitors feel they are dining at some royal place. < br>
Our culinary journey began with a big glass of Smoked Mattha, I loved the smokiness in it. Then it was turn of starter, we were served Bhuttiyan de Kebab (minced corn mixed with Indian spices), Khasta kukkad Tangri (crunchy batter-fried chicken drumsticks), Tandoori Jalpari (whole marinated Pomfret cooked in clay oven) and Achari Jhinga (pickled prawn cooked in clay oven). I liked Tandoori Kukkad, which was crispy and cooked well, Achari Jingha was also good, but I liked more Bhuttiyan de Kebab. < br>
