Fashionista in association with DANJ presented a royal extravaganza of fashion ‘Fashionista Fashion Fest 2012’ that gleamed in the open night sky at Lure, Tavern on the Green.The evening took a roll with the first show in sequence by Designer Kunal.S unveiling his latest collection titled ‘Nawab Reincarnation’. Actor Nasser Abdullah walked as a show stopper who stunned everybody in the nawabi andaaz.
“The collection depicted the rebirth of Nawab in the modern era. Combining the traditional ethnic work and contemporary fashion trends of today, my collection portrayed European cuts with Nawabi aura”, said Designer Kunal Seth..
Amid of the hullaballoo, the star cast of forthcoming film ‘Will you marry me’ including Mugdha Godse and Muzambil Ibrahim added some more bling. They walked the ramp wearing the creations of two budding designers Mudita Chadda and Nazeer Ahmed from Fashionista (The School of Fashion Technology). Inspired by the blooming hibiscus flower, the collection envisaged the concept of petals in the hues of red and pink.
“DANJ and Fashionista have come together to give a platform of diverse spectrum to talented designers. Further, participation from the other branches of Fashion Fraternity is also anticipated in the upcoming shows”, said the duo Dinesh Aneja (MD of DANJ) and Neetu Manikatalia (MD Fashionista).
To grace this evening guest were from Socialite to Designer fraternity included Bobby Darling, Ashok Masti, Sylvie, Rahul Dutta, Designers- Taniya Khanuja, Gautam Gupta, Parul Grover, Anushree Jain (Osia Italia), Wani Grover of Mrigna Arts, Shalini Vij, Rachna Kohli Sandu, Ashmeen Munjal, Sapna Maken, Varun Katyal, Vandana Vadera, Rita Gangwani, and many more
