The corona pandemic has shaken the world badly. But on a positive note, it created lots of opportunities for budding entrepreneurs to launch new ventures. Digitisation also helped a sizable number of new start-ups to launch various ideas which were not possible without digital platforms.

One such person who utilised the lockdowns and launched two new ventures is Ms. Minakksi P Geani namely @nummerologybyminakksi with her sister, Diipti Punjbi, and @mojomarketting where her sister, and a college friend, Meenu Agarwal are her partners.

Minakksi, 42, a Commerce graduate from Sydenham has business ethics in her blood, coming to her from her father who is a businessman. She has been working with Mezora, one of the top modelling agencies in India since 2013, and finds it a very amazing place to work in. She applauds the work culture at Mezora and is very happy working at Mezora.

Fashiongaze recently was in conversation with Minakksi, and brings the experts of the interaction.

Hi Minakksi, please tell us something about yourself and about your company?

I am a simple girl who loves her family, friends, and socialising, shopping, and work. I am currently associated with 3 companies, and two of them are lockdown ventures/babies, @nummerologybyminakksi, and @mojomarketting.

Lockdown gave us time to create these businesses and for me, I guess it was returning to my roots as I am a Sindhi and I am told business is in our blood. Most importantly, I think my dads’ prayers worked as he wanted me to do business for a long time.

· When did you decide to start these new ventures? And what made you start both journeys in two widely different and diverse fields?

It was not a decision. It just happened in the lockdown. Yes, the fields are diverse but I am passionate about both as I love media and am into different forms of active healing since 2006. Numerology is also a road to improving the quality of one’s life and healing.

· How has been your journey so far?

It’s been amazing. The industries that I work in have magic associated with them as they give us a chance to associate with many amazing people from different parts of the world. I have deep respect for models/actors/influencers/artists, etc. as they lead a very challenging life. I also have respect for my numerology clients as I appreciate people who have a passion to improve their lives.

·How is the influencer marketing company going on?

So far so good. We are happy with the progress so far. It’s very satisfactory to be able to provide work to influencers in my company. There are some influencers to whom we have given multiple jobs already. And they are also happy as we are very prompt with payments. The journey is also very nice as my partners are similar in approaches and as it has deepened our friendship.

·What is the future of influencer marketing companies after COVID-19?

God willing, the future is very bright as this is a new business with lots of scope for growth and it’s going to become mandatory for every brand -small or big in times to come. I pray that it brings a lot of abundance to several people and families.

·As a numerologist, which type of advice u will give to the bloggers’ community?

As a numerologist, I give the same suggestions to all my clients. If you believe in numerology, get the spelling correction done and in any case even with no spelling correction, I advise them to improve things in life, always do active good deeds; in fact the more the better.

·Who all are your major clients?

Mezora has served various major clients like Pepe, Shoppers Stop, Dermoviva, Westside, Taj, etc.

Through @nummerologybyminakksi, I have been fortunate that I have done sessions for various models, actors, and artists like Nishant Dahhiya, Esshanya S Maheshwari, Jai Kumar Nair, etc.

For Mojo Marketing we have had several clients but our most loyal and biggest client is Pepe and we are very thankful to their marketing agency that hires us repeatedly.
