Mi India announces PatchWall Binge Award Winners for 2020

1 Million users voted for their favourite content across various categories

 

Mi India announces the winners of their 2nd edition of PatchWall Binge Awards. With PatchWall providing users a platform for a wide variety of content across categories, the awards highlight some of the most loved blockbusters, shows, and music videos loved by them in 2020. The award also recognises the efforts of content partners whose platforms feature the most popular content in the award categories.

 

From most popular Bollywood films to most popular music videos and from popular kids’ content to popular regional TV shows, these awards showcase the consumption pattern of Indian consumers on Mi TVs’ PatchWall, and what deeply connects them. Spread across 13 different categories, Mi India registered huge participation, with users voting for their favourite show or content on Mi TVs and across social media channels. Witnessing a two-fold increase in participation, vis-a-vis last year, top 13 winners have been decided on the basis of 1 million votes received. More than 70% of these votes were casted by users on Patchwall with their Mi TV’s.

Mi has partnered for content sharing such as Disney+ Hotstar, Prime Video, SonyLIV, Zee5, Sun NXT, DocuBay, aha  among others allowed users to enjoy limitless on-demand content. Films such as ‘Dil Bechara’ and ‘Parasite’ won titles for ‘Popular Bollywood Film’ and ‘Popular International Film’ respectively. ‘Frozen 2’ available on Disney+ Hotstar won under the ‘Popular Kids Content’ category while the famous ‘Scam 1992 – The Harshad Mehta Story’ won the title of ‘Popular Original in Hindi’.
