A product of the London School Of Fashion Mandira honed her skills in the art of fashion designing from the international malls of London. Fusion being her mainstay; her clothes exude class and wearability that is reflected in her easy silhouettes, minimal embroideries in straight and structured cuts.

 

The form of the collection is simple and the structure easy with special cuts, fall, finesse & style creating timeless outfits. Embroideries are a statement of the complete story and they emerge in her clothes as textural strokes like a signature that defines the canvas.

 

What sets her on a different platform from other designers is her vision. Mandira’s designs suit the millennium – working woman. Her creations are a symbol of subtlety and many of her designs bear the forte of being seamless in their style. Her clothes have the simplicity of a genius, with attention to every meticulous detail. Individual statements of style; emulated by all.

 

Mandira created a furore in the fashion arena with her 2001 Fall/Winter collection ‘Dawn To Dusk’ at Maurya Sheraton, followed by a fashion preview at The Marwar Show 2001held at Mumbai.

 

In 2002, Mandira showcased her spring summer 2002 collection at the Lakme India Fashion Week followed by her highly acclaimed Fall/winter collection 2002 at The Metropolitan hotel Nikko. Mandira showcased her highly appreciated Fall/winter collection 2003 ‘Eternal Art & Today’s Glamour’ at Taj Palace Hotel.

 

2004 saw Mandira showcasing her trendy Fall-Winter collection 2004 at Hyatt Regency Delhi, followed by‘Mirrors & Smoke’ at the Olive Bar & Kitchen, Mumbai.

 

March 05 saw Mandira launching her prêt label ‘MW2’ with her Spring Summer 2005 collection ‘Colours of Spring’ at the Mist, Park Hotel. In April 05 Mandira’s select colorful ensembles were showcased at the Singapore Fashion Festival. In September 05 Mandira showcased her Fall-winter 05 collection ‘Too Far West is East’ at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi thereafter in November 05 Mandira showcase her prêt collection at the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week, 2005. In March 06 Mandira showcased her fall-winter collection ‘Eternal Voyage’ at the Lakme Fashion Week, Mumbai. Recently in February 07 Mandira showcased her collection ‘Timeless Elegance’ at Fashion Statement 2007 in Colombo.

 

The designer has a presence in Munich, San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, London,Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah,Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai. In New Delhi she retails through her own exclusive stores at “The Crescent” at the Qutub & The MGF Metropolitan Mall.
