[tab:Feed]Kapil and Mmonika Arora launched their label ‘Kapil & Mmonika’ in 2007, initially retailing glamorous Indian couture from their flagship store in North Delhi. The self-trained designer duo, with a keen eye for aesthetics and interesting interpretations of traditional craftsmanship, soon had a loyal client base. They started retailing from premium stores across the country and showcased their luxurious collections in various cities, attended by an audience comprising the society elite and A-list celebrities.

With the success of their couture line, the duo launched a luxury prêt line in March 2011, at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer Resort in Mumbai. The aim of the luxury prêt line was to offer more options to their existing clientele accommodate a wider audience and bring luxury traditions to the ready-to-wear rails. Encouraged by the response to their maiden prêt line, the duo is creating their second collection for Lakmé Fashion Week Winter Festive 2011.
