Seven sought after couturiers win the FDCI Lobby of Acclaim grant for their tremendous commitment to lifting plan – Rahul Mishra, Gaurav Gupta, Falguni and Shane Peacock, Anju Modi, Varun Bahl, Shantnu and Nikhil, and Amit Aggarwal, while Rajesh Pratap Singh wins the recently established ‘India Style Grant’.
In a glittering ceremony held on Sunday(3oth July, 23) at the Taj Palace hotel in the capital, the third edition of the Fashion Design Council of India’s Hall of Fame presented awards to eight couturiers. Among the individuals who brought back home the prize were – Rahul Mishra, Falguni and Shane Peacock, Gaurav Gupta, perceived for their worldwide presence and magnificent accomplishments making the country’s presence felt on the worldwide range.
Make Pentecostal Anju Modi, making Indian current with their outlines Shantnu and Nikhil, reconsidering bloom power Varun Bahl, and the free thinker maker of twisted shapes Amit Aggarwal, were granted for their extraordinary plan belief system. The originator known for his effortlessness of thought and art Rajesh Pratap Singh was respected with the recently organized India Design Grant by the Administrator FDCI Sunil Sethi. The Hall of Fame awards pay homage to the brilliant work that our couturiers have done. Our seven couturiers have portrayed the India story, through their imaginative versions; what’s more, we have another honor The India Style Grant, given for greatness in plan conceptualisation. According to Chairman FDCI Sunil Sethi, “This evening is dedicated to their hard work and dedication.”
