Elario Group Has Unveiled “ICE AGE”

Delhi, January 23, 2012: In this freezing winter of Delhi, Delhites now can take a joy of Ice Skating at newly launched Ice Age. The city will now enjoy the thrill of ice sports with the opening of ICE AGE.
It is situated on the 2nd level of the MOMENTS Mall, Kirti Nagar ,Ice Age have a total built up area of approx 3,000 sq.ft. Of which, about 1,500 sq.ft. is dedicated for skating and rest for Cafe Lounge and gives one the opportunity to experience skating on real ice even when the temperature is soaring high outside. ICE AGE is a unique entertainment and leisure destination that is set to serve the interests of diverse demographic groups. While the younger group can use penguin aids to walk on the ice, the older group can learn ice skating from a pool of professional coaches and trainers at Ice Age. The rink can accommodate up to 50 skaters at any given point of time; additionally the viewer’s gallery can accommodate in access of 100 people.
Besides skating on ice, there are multiple options to ensure that you have a superlative fun filled experience at Ice Age. You could enjoy an X-Box game in the gaming zone, or groove on the dancing floor with in house DJ. There is also a provision for hosting private parties and birthday bashes at the ICE AGE party lounge, which is furnished with a pantry to cater to special functions .The rink is also equipped with laser lights which transform the ambience of the arena to an ice disco zone. The ice rink also has a café and a bar where one can choose from an extensive food and beverage menu.
speaking on the occasion, Co-Owners of Ice Age Mr. Parmeshwar Sanghi, Mr. Rachit Seksaria, Mr. Jitin Seksaria and Mr. Nishant Mittal said, “We are very excited to bring this unique concept to India. Ice Age combines aspects of sports, entertainment, leisure and well-being. It is a one-of-a-kind entertainment retail model in the country and through this project we wish to open avenues for people to enjoy ice sports in India, all year around.

This Ice skating rink is made from customized ice skating panels which are imported from abroad. It has 98 percent resemblance to ice age in which the technology has reduced the hardness effect so that the novice skater doesn’t hurt himself when he falls down badly. It gives the same gliding and sliding effect with the safer skating experience. This is the same reel ice which is used in Disneyland, NHL team training centers in Florida. These ice panels are ecological, non-toxic and recyclable product (certified by Spanish National Research Council). It is easier for beginners to skate with limited risk of injuries thanks to the highly impact-absorbing material.
Speaking on their future plans they said, “We intend to take ICE AGE – Delhi’s first ice skating rink and café concept to 3 different locations within Delhi by December 2012. Our aim is to provide world class infrastructure to create a ready avenue for ice/ figure skaters and budding professionals across India.”

The ticket will cost Rs 150 on weekdays and Rs 200 on weekends.
