Glamorous evening marks, FBB Colors Femina Miss India North 2017 winners.

The announcement of winners of the glamorous fbb Colors Femina Miss India North 2017 pageant was truly a rollicking affair. Hosted at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel on 16^th April, 2017, the pageant saw 8 states of the North Zone – Miss India Madhya Pradesh, Miss India Himachal Pradesh, Miss India Uttar Pradesh, Miss India Jammu and Kashmir, Miss India Punjab, Miss India Haryana, Miss India Uttarakhand and Miss India Delhi emerge winners. As good luck would have it, the winners gained a direct entry to the Grand Finale of fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2017 slated to be held in June. The big buzz around fbb Colours Femina Miss India North 2017 was understandable since it enjoys a reputation for being one of the country’s most prestigious and credible beauty pageant.

It was no easy going for the contestants as the girls had to go through 3 rigorous rounds which comprised a Modern India Round that saw the girls dressed in dazzling outfits designed by ace designer Shubhika Sharma for PAPA DON’T PREACH. The Pop Princess’s Wardrobe consisting of varied outfits in a vast array of colours were designed keeping in mind the different moods of the girls! Right from svelte pre-stitched sarees, kitsch Mehendi half skirts with crop tops to dreamy tulle lehengas, every occasion was practically optimally utilized. Embellished with Shubhika’s signature laser cut acrylic hearts, multicolored sequences, and thread work, every outfit left an indelible mark as a walking talking work of Pop Art!

The second round being the fbb Round saw the showcasing of a new collection ‘Ateesa’ that was all about embarking on a journey from local to global. The collection offered an invigorating twist with bursts of electric colors, quirky vibes and funky graphics & motif’s. The collection was teamed with bags from Holii, an Indian-born brand reflecting the strong culture, joy, complexity and the sheer brilliance of the country through an innovative design.

The third round was the Evening Gown Round wherein the girls graced the stage in a gown collection by AMIT GT whose collection is distinctively known to be a tribute to modern day royalty. Inspired by Princesses and Queens of 21^st century such as Princess Kate Middleton, Queen Rania, Sheikha Mozah and Queen Ameera who have carved a niche for their understated sartorial choices and for bringing out their true beauty and charismatic personality.

The uniqueness of the pageant being it’s hosting the mentors for each zone who will be guiding the contestants and helping them in any way they need. To take charge of the proceeding for the North Zone, former Miss India, actress and host Neha Dhupia was roped in.

The Judges for the evening were Neha Dhupia, Rohit Khandelwal, Geeta Phogat, Namrata Joshipura and Sunil Sethi. Enthralling performance by Salman Yusuf Khan and Kanika Kapoor left the audience spell bound for the evening.

The winners of the fbb Colors Femina Miss India North 2017 were Adya Shrivastav (MP), Santoshi Ranaut (Himachal Pradesh), Shefali Sood (UP), Sana Dua (J&K), Navpreet Kaur (Punjab), Manushi Chillar (Haryana), Anukriti Gusain (Uttarakhand), Maira Chowdhary (Delhi)

The finalists of fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2017 will be undergoing vigorous training from the industry stalwarts prior to the Grand finale slated for the month of June.

This year too ‘fbb’ (India’s fashion hub), has partnered to be the title sponsor of the pageant. This association is in sync with the brand’s objective to make fbb the country’s most preferred fashion brand.
