New Delhi, 9th April, 2013 In a function at hotel Taj Mansingh the famous world’s coloured gemstone producer Gemfields has unveiled set of fine jewellery collaboration with 36 leading international designers.

Gemfields has operation worldwide including Zambia, Mozambique, India, UK, US, South Africa. Gemfields unveiled a new global advertising campaign featuring brand ambassador Mila Kunis wearing ethically sourced Zambian emeralds and Mozambican rubies shot by Mario Sorrenti in Los Angeles.Globally, it is the leading manufacturer and producer of emeralds
Ian Harebottle, Gemfields Chief Executive Officer has said,” The Indian jem and jewellery market alone is estimated at US$ 30.1 billion.Coloured gemstones in India have a market share of 8%, preceded by diamonds with a market share of 15%. Growth of coloured gemstones on an all-time high, demand in India alone has increased by 50% per year over the last four years”.
Gemfields is a mining company for retailing part they have collaboration with Indian company like, Gitanjali ,Amrapali and Tata Group’s Tanishq. We will bring ruby in the Indian market in second half of the year. We have marketing office in Mumbai and our retailing office in Jaipur. We are looking forward to our Indian collaboration. We have hired famous Indian jewellery designer like Bina Goenka said Ian Harbottle.
Bina Goenka also present on this occasion, she said,”Gemfield is a mining company and they have chosen me from the India to design the jewellery. In India colour stone demand has growing rapidly, everybody prefer colour stone , it’s look magnificent also more compare to diamond and add lot of variety to your wardrobe when you wear it”.
