Fortis La Femme hosted Glam Mom 2012

New Delhi, March 17, 2012,Fortis La Femme,organised its third annual beauty pageant for expectant mothers – Glam Mom 2012 At Hotel Lalit New Delhi. The beauty pageant was judged by a select panel which included celebrity mothers Priya Sachdev Chatwal, Director and Creative Director, TSG International Marketing Pvt. Ltd; Samantha Kochhar, Managing Director, Blossom Kochhar Beauty Products Pvt. Ltd; and Sonya Jehan, renowned French Bollywood actress of Pakistani descent.

Over 50 beautiful Moms has sashayed down the ramp in a mélange of colours. Inspired by Holi, the theme for the pageant was centred on vibrant colours. Contestants were divided into three groups for the event and each group was assigned a colour theme from the rainbow spectrum: Violet/Indigo, Blue/Green and Yellow/Orange/Red. Each contestant was dressed in stylish attire, enhanced by creative accessories, in line with her colour theme.
Titles given at the ramp walk were: Fortis Snowhite for beautiful skin, Fortis Rapunzel for beautiful hair, Fortis Monalisa for beautiful smile, Fortis Cinderella for graceful walk, Fortis Figure Perfect for beautiful baby bump, Fortis Sparkle for beautiful eyes.
Winner of the Glam Mom 2012 is Anshu Shishodia Sharma, frist runner up is Shikha Bhalla, second runner up Parul Moda.
The contestants walked the ramp with confidence and won interesting titles for beautiful eyes, skin, hair, smile, walk and baby bump. It was a challenging task for the judges to select three winners out of all these gorgeous and talented moms to be!
According to Dr. Vivek Talaulikar, Director, Fortis La Femme, “This initiative is aimed at celebrating this wonderful phase in a woman’s life and the joy of motherhood. Our endeavor is to make expectant mothers feel extra special and highlight that they are at their most beautiful in this stage of their lives. It gives us immense pleasure to make their pregnancies more memorable for these moms to be.”
