Eat, Drink, Play and indulge in endless revelry at the city’s new party destination

It was revelry all the way at the grand launch of The Sports Diner by Hang Out at Select Citywalk, Saket. Offering an eclectic combo of eat, drink and games, The Sports Diner launch saw an impressive turnout of guests, friends, celeb’s and usual party goers. The city’s glitterati was in full attendance at the sundowner hosted by Vandy and Manoj Mehra. The fun frolic event saw the guests making the most of the evening playing different games over some amazing music and drinks. While some guests spent most of the time perfecting their bowling skills, others preferred shooting pool, playing electronic darts and trying the latest in Virtual technology at the VR Zone.  

Manoj and Vandy played the perfect hosts as they ensured that their friends and the guests had a rollicking time enjoying the splendour of the Diner and the Vegas Casino theme exclusively created for the sundowner.  Notable among those who graced the event were cricketer turned expert commentator Atul Wassan, Anurag Jacob and Nilofer Hussain, Anjanna Khuthalia, Nasser Abdullah, Rajiv Makhni, Sanjay & Rashmi Virmani, Slvyie, Vandana Vadhera, Amit Talwar, Monika Malik, Bhavna Reddy, Bobby Chawla, Reshma Madaan, Kajli Sehgal, Vaishali Rai, Mallika Jain to name a few.

 The F&B at the Diner party brought its distinctive spark with a sporty concoction from around the world following the legacy of sportsmanship with dishes like Fussball arancini, Goal post souvlaki served on tennis racquets, cricket bats and colourful cocktails doing rounds.

“The Sports Diner is a US inspired Dave & Buster model that caters to all age groups. We had the ex-VP of D&B on Board as a consultant with us for this project. The Idea behind The Sports Diner & Hang Out Kids, was to keep the moms, dads, teens & tweens and the young adults entertained, while drawing the fine thin line by separating the two floors keeping in mind their difference in preference in gaming & their entertainment needs and yet bringing in a comprehensive and complete Family entertainment Center”, said ShaliniVij, Founder & Director- Hang Out. 

The Sports Diner has 6 different segments, thus making it a very unique Family entertainment Center. The VR Zone-brings in a 360 degree turning roller coaster that replicates a real rollercoaster. The VR Roller coaster simulator is full motion cockpit, where riders can program their own journey by selecting track pieces. Every loop, leap, and lunge is seen on huge HD projection screen. The VR Zone also boasts of the VR shooting a 360 degree head turning shooting game & a 6-seater VR ride with the Virtual glasses, bringing virtual reality into the entertainment industry & more virtual games & rides under one roof.

Besides, The Sports Diner has the 1^st black light arena bowling with UV lights, neon balls, black light reflecting carpet, lanes, capping, side painted walls to give you the 1st of its kind neon bowling experience as its 2nd segment called the Hi Lanes Bowling, with 4 lanes each catering to 6 players with full seating capacity & service & party area.

The Private party & Pool table area is the 3rd segment where interestingly the pool tables can be converted into dining tables if your requirement is not to play, with choice of games like beer pong, beer buck it, electronic darts, you sure can have a party for grownups here, while the kids have a separate floor upstairs on the 4th floor called ‘Hang Out Kids’. 

The fully stocked bar made of individual wine corks and changing LED light pillars adds character to the place with its high tables seating, and indubitably happens to be the perfect place for grabbing a bite, or catching the happy hour. The dining area has a 6-seater family booths promoting mealtimes with family and friends. The game room at the SD is different from the atypical ‘Hang Out Kids’ with the games here being selected, keeping the grown-ups in mind, with bar stools and drink service.

The game room promises to allure grown-ups for not just enjoying the games, but also getting inspired to win the prizes at the Winners Corner. The Winners corner has prizes to be won ranging from pens to a steam iron, power banks & you may even win an I-pad too, all you need to do it get lucky on those games. The staircase segregates, and yet connects the ‘Hang Out Kids’ upstairs a full floor catering to 10 and under with games, rides, playgrounds and lots more which is again is carefully selected keeping their tender age & requirement in mind. 

Evolving, innovating, and upgrading with time needs and demands in terms of technology and entertainment on an ongoing basis is what will really set the new party and entertainment destination apart from others.
