Charu Parashar Spring Summer 14 collection – A Persian Dream

Ace designer Charu Parashar’s new and vibrant Spring /Summer 14 collection takes Inspiration from the Persian culture where intricate embroideries and woven patterns shape the culture of life, imparting ethereal, dreamy, light as a breeze feel to the collection. Designer is all set to electrify the ramp with her new collection at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring/ Summmer 2014. This season Charu Parashar has redefined the Charu Parashar woman by discovering her uniqueness and individuality.
She has used Colour palate like a symphony of salmon pink to reds to ethereal Whites. Certain drama is added with the play of red and white’s together.Experiments of new, colourful shades are intertwined with soft explosions of gold.
Designer is this time playing with the prints and patterns picked from the Persian art and woven textiles. The collection is a refreshing change from the earlier works of the designer.Charu has used fabrics like Chiffon, Chanderi, Cotton, Silk and Georgettes.


Charu’s collection comprises of Chic, Sporty, Free Flowing Shifts, Flared Pants with draped bodices, Jumpsuits with draped Tops, embroidered thread work pants with printed boho look shirts and short frill dresses.The silk chiffon Tops and shifts continue the delicate touch, with structure and soft, intricate embroideries. The ensembles in soft colours are dynamic and sharp through the designer’s signature tailoring, further adding to the free spirited feel of the collection.
Designer Charu Parashar’s collection has intricate resham handwork with blasts of gold in places.All in all the collection is a harmony of lightness look of the prints teamed with elegance of the strong embroideries creating a feminine look.
Charu Prashar will showcase her new and electrifying collection at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2014 on day 4 October 12, 2013 at 5:45pm from hall number 18 Pragati Maidan New Delhi.
