Burlesque Night @ LAP

New Delhi, 20th January, 2012: LAP has hosted a unique first of its kind” Burlesque Night”. In its signature style LAP proudly presented the opening of Burlesque night. This will be held once a month on a Friday. Burlesque is a literary, dramatic or musical work intended to cause laughter by caricaturing the manner or spirit of serious works, or by ludicrous treatment of their subjects. The night saw Performances and Activities such as Stand Up comedy, Aerial Dancers, Juggling, Clowns, Fire Dancers, an act by the Drag Queens, Free Style Dancers, and Jazz and was much appreciated by the audience. The Stand Up comedy act by Rajneesh Kapoor made sure everyone laughed to death.
The ambience was suitably tweaked with flowers, fairy lights, lamps, running bulbs, red roses, and posters on the wall, bird cages, a huge Martini Glass ETC. The Staff of Lap were dressed in accordance to the theme in Costumes & Characters.
This unique party has attended by prominent faces of the Delhi Social Circuit such as, Ramola Bachchan, Rohan Jaitley of Tgif, Sanjay Sharma of Swarovski, AD Singh, Designer Shantanu with wife Rima Mehra, Sanjit & Niamat Bakshi, Punit Juneja and many more.
