Blackberrys Sharp Night event at Blue Frog

New Delhi May 9’12: Blackberrys, the premium men’s apparel brand announced the launch of the Blackberrys Sharp Nights concept at a fashion extravaganza.

The Sharp Nights campaign is a glorification of the values of “Sharp” men. This activity was Blackberrys endeavor to recognize the pack of distinctly sharp men through an integrated campaign, which was initiated by the digital medium, hosted on Blackberrys social media platform. The culmination of the activity is the ‘Blackberrys Sharp Nights’ event to be held in New Delhi on the 9th of May.

Commenting on the celebration of the Blackberrys Sharp Nights, Mr.Yogesh Tiwari, Vice President Sales & Marketing expressed ‘We recently changed our tagline from “sharp.smooth.sure” to “go sharp”. The word “Go” in the tagline is a call to action; it connotes energy and passion which defines the youth of today. “Sharp” is decoded as a visceral extension of a charismatic personality. High on fashion and style, Sharp men exude the oomph which is a sum total of attitude and looks. Sharp Nights concept is an endeavor to recognize this tribe. It is our pleasure to announce the launch this concept. We are delighted to have actor Farhan Akhtar to be a part of this endeavor. Our thought behind the initiative was to connect with the sharp men from our audiences and recognize them well.

During the course of the evening, a fashion show was held to showcase Blackberrys Spring Summer collection that enthralled the audience. Actor, Director Farhan Akhtar walked the ramp as the show stopper. A live performance by Jalebi Cartel during the fashion show added the extra groove to the show. The very famous UK based performers – Twilight Players of Dev D fame were flown for the event as well. The event kept the promise of being the biggest extravaganza of the season with Dj Nikhil Chinappa spinning the music at the Blue Frog club. Femina Miss India 2011, Hasleen Kaur, announced the winners from the facebook contest and handed out their prizes. The personality of the brand was evident from the scale of the event and the names associated with it.
