Atsu for Spring Summer 2012 presented a vivacious mix of colours. Highlighting pink as the leader in his summer palette, the designer used the diagonal sense of styling. The pleating in a subtle manner formulated the theory of romantic inclination. The blacks, pinks and the off-whites form separate panels of the formal shirts. Side seams of the trousers were highlighted with contrast vertical strips. The embroidered bigger floral motifs in yellow; baby blue over off-white surfaces; black over pink; and orange over off-whites looked well crafted. The appliqué technique looked naive as based on a very fresh theme. Men’s shirt in wovens and knits had an uber-sexual appeal. The collars were in contrast shades. Beige pants were eloquently teamed to look an integral part of the collection. Prints had pink, beige, Prussian blue playing mischievously. The necks seemed bolder in term of volume. Hems had a decent flare. Black sequined pencil skirt with soft grey printed top caught everyone’s attention.
