Anand Bhushan’s urban tribe collection was elegant, sheer and feminine with lots of soft and delicate feathers, intricate cutwork and embroidery in silk chiffon, organza, lightweight dull crepe and laser-cut georgette. Models hopped their way down the ramp in draped ivory chiffon dresses with petal like feathers at hem and neckline. A short dress had heaps of coils on the surface, which gently dangled their way down the hem, reminding us of a contemporary urban jungle. Appliqué and cutwork looked appealing in dresses and tops with hints of chiffon. The mesmerising surface textures were carried forward in bold vermillion and refreshing mint hues as models walked on skyscraper wedges. A mint green top with deep V-neckline was teamed with a straight fit trouser while diamond patterns were shaped out of surfaces in a knee length fitted dress in mint. Asymmetric hemlines and revealing halter backs in pristine white emerged as the show was about to end. A one shoulder white dress with a gorgeous surface treatment finished the show on a high note.
