In an exclusive chat with Fashiongaze.com Editor Surveshwar Sarvesh, actor Vishal Malhotra shared, “I play a traffic cop’s role in Sony SAB’s new show “Khatmal-E-Ishque”. Since the job of a traffic cop is very tough, the role too has been extremely challenging and tough. However since I love playing different roles in every new assignment and project, I have loved playing the role of a traffic cop in the new show. While in the line of their duty, many a times, traffic cops are known to put their lives to great peril as they have no shield from the pollution. To get a good grasp of my character and to understand the profession and duty of a traffic cop, I positioned myself at a chaotic traffic juncture for a good 15 days period. The hard work paid as I was able to learn numerous new and interesting facets about the profession of a traffic cop. The new show will uniquely portray love and romance with a nice blend of comedy. Indisputably, the theme and the overall concept of the show would strike a vibrant chord with the viewers. The character of Kapil Dev is played by me while the character of Lovina DeMello is played by actress Umang Jain.”

Actor Sharat Saxena who happens to be a stalwart having done more than 250 Bollywood films, seemed confident with his role of a tough and orthodox father in the show.
