SARAH JANE DIAS SINGS AT BMWIBFW

Actress Sarah Jane Dias mesmerised the audiences with her singing skills during designer Jyotsna Tiwari’s show at the seventh edition of BMW India Bridal Fashion Week 2015 at DLF Emporio New Delhi. The showstopper Sarah Jane Dias ‘with a difference’ walked the ramp towards the closing of the show, after she performed her 20-minute long performance. Sarah was seen wearing a red lacy dress with a dash of sparkle on it and with a meshed back.


“It was a rare honour to perform and walk at the show. This is something, which does not happen always. So, it feels great to be a part of something unique” ,said, Sarah after the show.
Sarah’s vocals brought alive the romantic mood of Jyotsna’s collection which was titled “Secret Garden” and inspired by a girl in love.

“She wanted to experiment with the concept of showstopper and felt that having models walking on the ramp to Sarah’s voice was a “great idea”, said
Jyotsna.
“I didn’t want to take the expected route of having a showstopper. I wanted something different. I wanted to have a feel of a very modern romance happening. This is why the jazz came into the picture. She (Sarah) was there throughout the presentation to bind it together. It became strong and nice,” the designer added.


Jyotsna said her bridal line was inspired by a girl in love. “It is about this girl, who is in love and she has reached a place, where she is lost. It is the ‘Secret Garden’, which is full of different feelings. So, we have tried to showcase her different moods,” she said.


The fabrics used were laces, Lycra and stretch Lycra, which were used in drapes and saris with Swarovski embellishments. The colour ranged from peaches, pinks, corals, golds and reds.
Flowers appear throughout the collection glittering with embellishments.
The ramp was transformed into a pebbled walkway lined with stones, flowers and foliage lining up on the sides to lend a feel of a path in a park.
