[The famous gorgeous Bollywood actress Chitrangada Singh has walked the ramp as showstopper for Designer Kanika Saluja Chaudhary, on second day of Wills Lifestyle India fashion Week autumn winter 12. She said, “I think she is just fabulous and love what she is doing with the Modern women. I admire people who don’t believe in stereotyping women. With one look and she has outshined with her design aesthetics. I am not that typical girl next- door that restricted her with one look and that is what I love about the designer.
“The design was all about women of power and ever since I have ventured into movie, I always made sure to get into the mood of character yet not restricting myself in one role and hope to continue in future” further added by actress Chitrangada singh.
Designer Kanika saluja Chaudhary theme of the show is Anaikka. Anaikka embodies industrial surfaces with strong structural silhouettes. This collection is about metal chic with industrial Goth. Anaikka borrows a lot from men’s wear in terms of fabrics for its Jackets and outer wear .the dresses and the tunics have a feminine feel and with it is the integration of metal in its rarest form.
The aim is to achieve equilibrium between architectural shapes and wear ability. We keep comfort right in sight when thinking of creativity. Kanika has used colors like charcoal, navy, coca, deep forest green, Burberry and just a Spanish of electric blue. Anaikka Women have strong, independent opinionated character with a distinct sense of style.
