Christmas Reindeers take up residence at DLF Emporio

[tab:Feed]New Delhi, December 15, 2011: Christmas is almost knocking at the door and India‘s first & finest luxury destination and DLF Emporio, India’s finest luxury destination is going green this Christmas with unusual Santa’s Reindeers never been seen before. The Christmas festivities have begun at DLF Emporio with extravagant décor and a plethora of celebrations- with special Christmas reindeers decorated by renowned fashion designers and a unique Christmas pop-up store filled with beautiful gifts and merchandise by fashion designers and NGOs.

The elegant affair was attended by eminent designers and personalities like Mira Gulati, founder and principal designer of Mirari, Gaurav Gupta, Ashima- Leena, Surekha Jain, Neeva Jain and others. The Reindeers about 8 feet high were accessorized and decorated by renowned designers like Shantanu-Nikhil, Raghvendra Rathore, Bally, Van Laack, Ashima Leena, Gaurav Gupta, Janavi, Mirari, Abraham & Thakore and Surekha Jain. A live ‘carol singing’ session was also organized at the event.
DLF launched an exclusive Christmas pop-up store at the Ground Floor, filled with limited edition gifts and merchandise created by fashion designers; all priced less than 10,000 INR. The Pop up store has been specifically launched for this Christmas season. The store had jewellery designed by Gaurav Gupta; footwear and bags from Ashima Leena Singh’s; cuff links, wine sets, writing instruments by Shantanu and Nikhil; bags and footwear from Meera Muzzafar Ali and intricate jewellery from Malini Ramani. Not only the designers but also various brands are eagerly participating in the Pop Up store like DAG with its exclusive wall clocks, mugs , coasters and stationary; key chains from Swarovski ; stoles from Patine; clutches & stoles from Janavi. NGO’s like PFA – People for Animals displaying art mugs and Shine foundation’s tree decorations, gift tags and envelops. Maneka Gandhi’s “People for Animals” products are on display and for sale at the NGO section of the Pop up store.
