Lehangas, salwar-kameez, maxi-dresses and waist-coats looked enchanting in earthy tones of beige, muddy brown, copper, burgundy and maroon to capture the Indian traditional clothing arena. Beige was predominantly used, giving a clear message – beige is the new black! The collection was confined to Indian parameters presented amidst the backdrop of Hindustani music as the models walked to the rhythm flute and tabla beats.

The show started off with a copper top teamed with beige trouser. It was followed by traditional salwar-kameez and lehengas occasionally teamed with waist-coats. Traditional mango motifs, marigold prints and polka dots were used on fabrics like raw silk, cotton and khadi. On the other hand, surfaces and textures were occasionally seen as in the last ensemble where the beige dress had brown patch work details.

Manoj Dubey ensured to keep the audience overwhelmed till the last ensemble by playing it heavy on ethnic concoctions.
