ASIAN SUPER MODEL INDIA 2011

The Asian super model contest has held at New Delhi on 23 August 2011.Asian Super Model 2011 is Asia’s biggest Model contest, which The Ramp is organizing in collaboration with the china Bentley Culture Group. The grand finale of this event will be held in Nanning China this year.

The Jury member for this event  was Mr. SanjeevMohanty (MD. Benetton group), Sachin Sharma (head Swarowski group India), SahilShroff (super Model and Actor), Carol Gracias(Super Model), Rashmi Virmani (Director Ramp Asia), Mr. Nanda (Director Nature’s essence) and JyotiNarula (MD. Genesis colors pvt ltd).

The evening was attended by  various eminent personality like Sonia Jatleey, Rohit Bal, Donna, Joy Mitra, Charu & Anupam Parashar, Poonam Bhagat, Ala & Rajan Madhu, Meera Nath, Vipin Aneja, Jatin Kochhar, Vijay Arora, Vandana Bhargava, Vandana Vadera, Gautam Gupta, Abdhul Halder, Nasir Abdullah, Neera Nath, Madhu Jain and many more.

There are, 36 young beauties from 13 Countries : China, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Colombo, Thailand & India participate in the twelve-day “model contest” to showcase their talent with their Asian style & charm.

The Ramp spearheaded by Rashmi Virmani , holds the license to organize the qualifying rounds in India to shortlist the three Indian representatives.

The contest was open to girls between 16-24 years of age. Every year we associate ourselves with the top brands of the world globally, the associates for the event this year are Nature’s Essence (title sponsor),Sisley (fashion Partner), Looks- the salon, Mocha (café-lounge partner) , Signature, Makari De Suisse (beauty partner), Kairali (wellness associate),F bar(Lounge partner) and Satya Paul (Styling Partner).

We this year present a new concept where we join hands with the ‘Earth Foundation’ and provide a new platform for them where they can come and spread the word about the importance of the girl child.
