The renowned fashion Designer duo Bharat & Reshma has celebrated the Festival of Hope and participated in the fashion show with other fashion designers for spread the awareness for Breast Cancer. This festival Of Hope has hosted by Shalini Vig Wadhva in association with the Indian Cancer Society and DLF Club 5 to raise the fund, supporting Breast Cancer awareness. Designer duo Bharat and Reshma has showcased their line of flamboyant Summer Men’s wear collection “CANDY MAN” highlighting mesmerizing palate of Candy colours and Dashes of Neon . The famous celebrity Imam Sidiqui has walked the ramp as show stopper for designer duo. IMAM who is renowned stylist himself got amazed by the collection and pronounced that Bharat n Reshma will be styling him for his forthcoming events in Mumbai. The other participating designers in the event were Amit Talwar, Gopa Kumar, Pawan Sachdeva. The Pink Blue Ribbon Fest’, showcased fashions from selected designers on models who are all breast cancer reconstruction patients. ‘Men against Breast Cancer’ – applaud the men who have stood tall and strong for the women they love when breast cancer strikes a female loved one.

Mother’s Day has celebrated at Capital’s very own Family Entertainment Center Hang Out, Saket on May 9th.Shalini Vij had organized an event for Moms to celebrate Mother’s Day at Hang Out. The theme of this show was “This One’s For You Mommy” It was a special Evening dedicated to the Mothers by their kids at Hang Out, with music, magic, dance, roses, cake, love & many other heart touching performances to show & convey the message of love. On this Special Day, Wishing Moms Happy Mother’s Day & to show their love and care in the form of singing, kids sung Famous Songs dedicating to Moms like M-O-T-H-E-R to the tune of Bingo, But you love me Mommy, Happy Mother’s Day song with Golden Voice Girl DJ Annamika & Rapped on "Mommy you are My angel’ . Kids also sang Hindi song MeriMaa along to show their love & gratitude to Moms. The show followed by true Salute to All the Mothers by performance on Maatujhe Salaam. Ballet performance by Amaya Arora(Vijay Aroras daughter) expressing her love without words or lyrics. Dance performance by Jattin Kochhar’s daughter. A special poem in Russian by Radha, AllaMadhu’s daughter expressed it all. The show followed an amazing magic Show by Ishaan Ghai &Sahil Vij. Gopalika Virmani helped in choreographing the show along with ShaliniVij. Performance by Hang Out Mascot Monku & his gang on the Mother’s Day Song was a special addition to the overall joy & Fun followed by kids bringing out cakes and roses for their mothers. Delhi’s well-known guests including Vandy Mehra, Ramneek Paintal, Rashmi Virmani, Gopalika Virmani, Shobhana Arora, Sanjay & Sheena Sharma, Alla Madhu, Annamika, Vesna Jacobs, Gunjan& Jattin Kochhar, Rima Mehra, Vidhushi Mehra,Meenakshi Dutt, Radhika Arya, Taniya Khanuja, Surbhi Ghai,Sonal Serh, Sabina Singh, Manish Seth, Dolly Jain, Sonia Duggal, Sangeeta Mehta, Preeti Burman, Sundeep Vij and many more with their kids were attended this celebration and celebrate Mother’s Day with full enthusiasm. Mom it’s a maternal bond. Eleven out of every 12 diamonds worldwide set in jewellery, are processed in India. Gold accounts for 14% of India's total merchandise exports during FY 2011-12. The industry has registered a remarkable growth over the last four decades, with exports grown from 28 million US Dollars in 1966-67 when the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) was established, to 42.84 billion US Dollars in FY 2011-12. Diamonds account for 54% of the total export basket of the industry, with gold jewellery contributing 38%. UAE constitutes 44%, Hong Kong constitutes 25% and USA constitutes 12% among the major buyers while Belgium accounts for 21.55% of all raw material import is the major supplier. Export of coloured gemstones touched 343 million dollars in 2011-12. Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) ushered an epoch, organising the first chapter of India International Jewellery Week 2013 in Delhi. The prolific prowess of jewel and ornament craftsmen and designs was let up amidst domestic and international buyers. 14 dashing fashion shows saw some 39 top models of India sashaying the ramp augmented with the choreography of the likes of Lubna Adam and Anu Ahuja. The show leveraged the call of the hour - empowerment of women. IIJW brand ambassador, Sonam Kaoor set the ball rolling with her ramp walk. 'Amer' jewellery range imbibes and replicates the magnificence of Amer Fort onto a pair of earrings and the splendor of the Ganesh Polegate congeals in the form of a pendant of Lord Ganesha in a necklace. The designs of Amer collection pose an immaculate setting of full cut,rose cut and uncut diamonds along with the lush green emeralds, white diamonds, yellow canary diamonds embellished with lavish pearls. Again'Hunar' reckons Mughal influence with its kundan, minakari and enamel.Hazoorilal ushered in its 'Desire' assortment culled out from tribal lineage. Bearing in mind the mehndi, baraat and shaadi segments of Indian wedding, jewellery brands have churned out their bespoke ornaments. Traditional brands like Nizam, Envi and True Platinum from Gitanjali reveal their magnum opus. Gitanjali's Parineeta collection in jadau, gold and diamonds is goaded by the Rajput, Mughal and Nizam eras. It has pristine white diamonds studded with 18K white gold ensconced amongst green emeralds, red rubies, blue sapphires and south sea pearls. The impressive lineup of collection from Charu Jewels dealt a ravishing effect. JUD jewellery from Junagarh Jewellery pitted its uncut diamonds. R.K. Jewllers rolled down its 'Zistava' and Rio Tinto put forth its peerless array 'Nazraana'. Designers such as Rosily Paul, Monica Kapoor and Pooja Juneja left lasting imprint upon the years to follow. Jewllery work upholds the melding of India's prolific history and fecund traditions with contemporary creativity and exquisite craftsmanship.

Mugdha Godse gave 9 out of 10 to Zoiro Italian men’s innerwear

Bollywood actress and former model Mugdha Godse was recently in town and walked on the ramp for Zoiro an Italian men’s wear brand. Responding to a question about Zoiro and her future project she said, “ Zoiro if I will scale it on point basis I give 9 out of 10 because Zoiro got style, fashion, comfort and it has glamour also. It is nice brand for men. Currently I am doing one film opposite with Vinay Pathak and in this film I am playing all different kind of role”. She has refused to talk more on her upcoming film. The famous Italian Men’s innerwear brand Zoiro has launched in the Indian Market at a sizzling fashion show on 11th April 2013 at Hyatt Hotel New Delhi. Leading model like Lalit Tehlan, Shahwar Ali, and Niketan Madhok along with many other models have walked on the ramp. The event set in 4 different sequences showcased the four new and exciting collections of Zoiro - Savio, Urbano, Trento and Lorenzo. Along with the revelation of each innerwear, the meaning of the word ‘Zoiro’ was demonstrated. The theme of the show was ‘One Life. Go beyond the ordinary’ Model Niketan Madhok responding to a question about Zoiro said, “I think it is much ideated designer and all men like this product. We are very lucky that we got such product in Indian market. Its design, fabric has given an edge over other brand. Navinn Seksaria, Zoiro India said, “I am targeting urban youth like 20 to 30 years old for this product. We have tied up in all big cities and in metros for its selling and distribution. India as a country is not well exposed to men innerwear styling. The men’s innerwear category has not evolved enough to match women’s. A range designed by a team of Italian designers, Zoiro wishes to be the innovator in the category. We wish to introduce new styles and cuts that are comfortable and stylish, yet different from the boring, plain white innerwear. We are hopeful of the success of the brand. We expect to take 10% market share by reaching 500 touch points of the premium men's innerwear market which is pegged at 15 bn in India.” The event was anchored by VJ ArchanaVijaya while DJ Iggy tuned on to his house tracks throughout the event. Present at the launch were Designer Rohit Bal,Gautam Gupta, Monisha Bajaj, Ritika Seth, Meenu, Ajay Lekha, Anurag Verma, Anil Lepz, amongst many others. Rohit Bal was spotted whistling and clapping for the model during ramp walk.
